Hapoel Rishon Lezion in handball announced tonight (Monday) that coach Idan Maimon will not continue in the team as the senior coach.
The club's announcement states: "The Rishon Lezion handball club and the coach of the Idan Maimon alumni team announce in a joint decision on a temporary break in the role of Idan Maimon as the coach of the alumni team."

The season of Maimon and Hapoel Rishon Lezion has not been one of the most successful in recent years, after the team was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the league by MK Holon and finished the state cup at this stage, after being eliminated by city rival Maccabi Rishon Lezion.
